#cheap D4 items

Season 14 has changed the way a lot of players think about endgame loot, and if you are still treating key farming like a one-path grind, you are probably wasting time. The old Betrayer's Husks route is gone, so now the real pressure is on Normal, Greater, and Superior Lair Keys. If you are trying to keep pace with bosses, upgrades, and the seasonal chase for D4 items, the first thing to accept is that the game's hint trail is not always the best route.
Why the obvious route falls short
Most players get pushed toward the Deathtoll Chamber, and on paper that sounds fine. In practice, it is a slog. Even when you are running high Torment levels, the drop rate for Superior Lair Keys can feel painfully thin. That is why a lot of experienced players stop trusting the chamber loop pretty early. They do not keep forcing a bad farm just because the map says to do it. They move on.
Where the real value comes from
The better play is to treat Mini Belial as your real target. He can show up after standard boss kills, and that is where the superior key supply starts to make sense. The trick is not sitting in one dungeon and hoping for luck. It is building a steady boss rotation, then letting the ambush happen naturally. In other words, kill bosses fast, stay alert, and do not leave the area too quickly.
Before that loop works, you need a pile of Normal and Greater Lair Keys. Helltides are still the place most players should spend their time for that part. The rhythm is simple: crack open Tortured Chests, fill your threat meter, and cut down Hellborne when they appear. If you are moving with purpose, the keys stack up faster than people expect. Many players also keep an eye on Rite and Wrath Warband nodes, since those extra events add more chances without pulling you far off route.
How to run the farm without burning out
Once your stash is healthy, switch over to bosses and start chaining kills. A few habits make the loop smoother.
Use Helltides first and gather enough base keys before you touch your boss circuit.
Fight bosses at Torment 10 or above if you want a better shot at Mini Belial.
Stay in the zone after each kill, because the spawn can happen right away.
Ignore the Deathtoll Chamber unless you are there for something else.
The nice thing about this setup is that it fits what players are already doing. You are farming gear anyway. You are running bosses anyway. So the key strategy just sits on top of normal endgame play instead of forcing some awkward detour. If you keep the Helltide stash full and keep the boss kills coming, D4 items cheap become easier to line up with the keys you actually need, and the whole season feels a lot less clunky.
